Vitale advised Moneyfarm on its £44.1m Private Placement

On January 26th Moneyfarm successfully completed a £44.1 million Private Placement by M&G plc making an initial investment and Poste Italiane which increased its investment. 

Vitale and STJ Advisors acted as joint advisors to Moneyfarm during the fund-raising process together with PWP. Barclays acted as advisor and placing agent.

• Equity Story preparation for initial engagement with banks and investors.
• Bank selection process approaching several international banks and placement agents leading to the appointment of Barclays as placement agent and PWP as transaction advisor and introducer of investors.
• Managing of marketing process and the activities of the banks creating an investor map for the private placement and allocating calling responsibilities among advisors to achieve the broadest education of investors.
• Investor outreach and selection of the preferred bidder through preparation of materials and proof points during valuation discussions with potential investors and advising the Company on the selection of the preferred bidder and on the negotiations of the key terms.
