Nahrin AG has acquired Swisscare S.r.l. from Alcedo SGR.

Headquartered in Villafranca di Verona (VR), Swisscare S.r.l. is a company dedicated to the research and distribution of high-quality supplements and cosmetics, made entirely with natural extracts and ingredients, through its two brands “Nahrin” and “Swisscare”.

Swisscare distributes its products through a sales force of about 7,500 sellers throughout Italy, reaching sales equal to approx. €26m in 2020 and an EBITDA of approx. €5m.

Nahrin AG, headquartered in Sarnen (Switzerland), produced and distributes food products and supplements, made only with natural extracts and ingredients. The group’s product portfolio includes tasty cooking products such as broths, spices, soups and sauces as well as premium dietary products such as food supplements, protein drinks and functional foods.

The acquisition is aimed to support Nahrin AG’s strategy of entering the Italian market, as up to now it was only present through Swisscare S.r.l..

Vitale acted as sell advisor, assisting the shareholders of Swisscare S.r.l. in the definition of the transaction’s structure and terms, in the management of due diligence activities and in the execution of negotiations with the counterparty.
