Poste Italiane S.p.A. has formalized the acquisition of a 15% stake in the ordinary shares of Telecom Italia S.p.A. from the French group Vivendi SE (“Vivendi”).

Upon completion of the transaction, Poste Italiane will hold a total stake of 24.81% of TIM's ordinary shares and 17.81% of its share capital.

TIM S.p.A., with approximately €14.5 billion in revenue in 2024, is the leading telecommunications operator in Italy, providing fixed and mobile network services, internet, and digital solutions for private customers, businesses, and public administrations.

Vitale acted as an advisor to Poste Italiane, providing a stand-alone valuation analysis of the TIM group in the context of the transaction aimed at acquiring a minority stake in the company.
