Vitale advised Irca S.p.A., leading global provider of integrated ingredient solutions for the chocolate, pastry, bakery and Italian gelato market, in the acquisition of Anastasi S.r.l., from the Anastasi family.

Anastasi S.r.l. is an Italian leading company in the pistachio-based semifinished ingredients sector, with more than 50 years of experience in the market, which is present in more than 30 countries worldwide.

In the context of the transaction, the Anastasi family will reinvest part of the proceeds in order to maintain a minority stake in group, while the fund Advent International will remain the majority shareholder.

Vitale acted as financial advisor to Irca S.p.A. offering support in the structuring of the transaction, in the negotiation phases and in the coordination of due diligence activities.
