With the aim of speeding up its growth by increasing its market share in Ferrara, Bologna, Modena and Ravenna territory, Credito Emiliano signed an agreement with Fondazione Cassa di Risparmio di Cento for the acquisition and the integration of Cassa di Risparmio di Cento.

Caricento is an important banking group with over 160 years of history: it served over 87,000 customers throughout 460 people, with a network of 47 branches and 3 Private and Wealth Management Centers in 2019. At the end of 2019, Total Deposits from Customers and total Loans to Customers were €3.7 billion and €2.0 billion respectively.

Vitale acted as financial advisor, assisting Credito Emiliano in the definition and in the elaboration of the strategic guidelines of the agreement as well as in the structuring of deal terms and conditions and in negotiation with counterpart.
