City Green Light, active in public lighting, energy efficiency and smart city services, has completed the acquisition of public lighting business of Ceie Power.

Ceie Power’s public lighting business consists in public lighting concessions vis-à-vis 35 municipalities for a total of about 60,000 lighting points, mainly located in the provinces of Teramo, Chieti and L’Aquila. The acquisition accelerates the underlying objectives of City Green Light's growth plan in the public lighting sector, the company's core business, in which it represents the largest independent operator in Italy.
 
City Green Light, established in 2017 and participated by Fondo Italiano per l’Efficienza Energetica, Marguerite Infrastructure Italy II and Banca Europea degli Investimenti (through Ipin 2E), is a leading player in the public lighting industry serving more than 250 municipalities throughout Italy boasting strong experience in managing more than 900,000 lighting points, 100 tunnels and 1,600 security cameras.

Vitale acted as financial advisor, assisting City Green Light in the valuation, in the structuring of the transaction, in the negotiation phases and in the coordination of due diligence activities.
