Vitale assisted Banco Desio in the acquisition from Banca Popolare di Puglia e Basilicata of a business unit consisting of a total of 14 bank branches located in Lazio, Lombardy, Veneto, Marche and Piedmont.
The business unit is characterised by an aggregated amount of loans to customers, deposits from customers, AuM and AuA of approximately Euro 870 million as of 31 December 2023 and 17,000 retail and SME customers, as well as assets and liabilities referable to them.
The acquisition of the business unit is in line with the objectives of Banco Desio Group's strategic plan aimed at further consolidating its positioning as a proximity bank in the retail and SME customer segments.
