Vitale assisted Argos Wityu SAS ("Argos") in the acquisition of Monviso Group S.r.l. ("Monviso" or the "Company").
Monviso, a leading Italian company in the health-oriented bakery products sector, is specialised in the production of rusks, biscuits, breadsticks, bruschette, crackers and ice cream biscuits. The Company serves various channels, including modern trade, the industrial sector, foodservice and specialized retailers, both in Italy and abroad, and markets its products under both private label and its own brands "Monviso", "Tonon" and "La Buona Terra".
As part of the deal, the management, currently a minority shareholder, will reinvest part of the proceeds thereby maintaining a minority stake in the Company. The purpose of the transaction is to support Monviso in consolidating its leadership position in Italy and expanding in Europe.
Vitale acted as Argos' financial advisor, providing support in structuring the transaction, in the due diligence phases, arranging financing and during the negotiation phases.
